Hi,
I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for although what I
want to do looks like it won't work.

I don't have ActiveSync installed on my notebook running WinXP nor do
I want to install it. Is the PPC file the same format as the desktop
file so I can just copy it as needed from one device to the other?
Thanks.

Regards-Michael G.

Unfortunately the file structures are different so this doesn't work. It's a feature I've requested several times as it would greatly enhance the usage of MLO for commuters on public transport (like me!), especially with the PPC smartphones that can also be used as USB memory sticks.

So I'd like to request this again.

Hope this will be done at least.
I'm not using Windows at home and I do not want to install activesync
at workplace.
The same stucture for both PPC and PC mlo's will be fanstastic!

This seems to be suggesting that PPC and Windows formats are different
and therefore not compatible. This being the case why does it not say
this when buying the combined package? On the face of it this would
seem devious a least and I for one won't bother investing any more
time. I thought I had found a decent solution but when I could not
open the PC version I spent several hours making on my PPC I thought
it was a glitch, to find it deliberate is extremely annoying. I have
had to curb my language to the extreme.

The formats are different but can be synchronised using MLOsync once an Activesync connection is established. Not ideal but means you can work on the same dataset with both platforms, just syncing them regularly. It work be much better with a common file format though.
