sort by due date not sorting

I want to sort by starred, goal, and due date in that order (on windows).

So when I do it by starred-decending, goal-descending, due-date decending get:
  starred
  goals
  in 21 days
  -12 days
  tasks with no due dates
  sunday
  sunday
  -15 days
Thats not what I asked for!

If I change to due-date ascending I get:
  starred
  goals
  -12 days
  in 21 days
  -15 days
  Monday
  Sunday
  Sunday
  tasks with no due dates
Which isn't what I want either.

How do I do it?  Is this a bug?
