This past weekend was Daylight Savings.  I noticed all my tasks (which are recurring tasks) were set one hour back.  So, the task I had set to remind me every day at 1:50 PM to do "My Task" is now set to remind me at 12:50 PM to do "My Task."  The version of MLO affected is 1.6.9 (Pro) running on both an Asus Nexus 7 and a LG Nexus 4 and both devices are affected.  Both Nexus devices are currently running Android 4.3 (there is no aftermarket ROM installed and the devices are not rooted).  The only topic I saw dealing with Daylight savings was a programming issue back in 2012 and I see no setting that has anything to do with Daylight Savings--unless I have over looked where that setting is located.  Clearly, having an hour extra for a reminder is acceptable, however, when we lose an hour it will be entirely unacceptable.

Please advise.

TIA,

Eric

Hello Eric.  This looks like a straight bug report, so I've posted it on the Beta testing bug report site on your behalf.

Can other Android users confirm?

Yes, but I'm not sure if this is an Android issue or a cloud server issue. My problems were slightly more complicated as . Was travelling to a different timezone at the time of the DST. change, but it affected my iPhone beta and ipad versions without me knowingly using the Android version.

I found many tasks, and not just recurring ones, had a time set to 01:00 or occasionally 23:00. I never use times. Equally many tasks that are seemingly identical weren't affected.

Stephane,

Thank you for the reply and bug post on my behalf.  I would like to say that I may have been a little unintentionally misleading.  I have cloud sync set up on both the Nexus 4 & 7; other than to initially set up the recurring setting on the tasks, I do not use a desktop version.  It could be that one device had the bug but then synced.  That said, both devices had settings/sync/cloud/[Both sides changed item] set to "Use local version" (which i'm not sure is even the setting I really want to use in the scenario of 2 mobile devices using cloud sync).

The JIRA bug report links to this discussion thread, so if other Android users can post their experiences, we can then update the bug report to help Andrey and team to track it down.

Hopefully an Android user or cloud sync user (I am neither) can moderate and update the JIRA report directly.

Hi, I use Android and cloud sync and I can say for certain that not one of my frequently used tasks with specified times had this problem.

There are some less frequently used tasks that are not supposed to have times that now show eirher 1am or 11pm times. This is not noticeable -if a task appears on the correct day I'm unlikely to notice that it appeared an hour early in the middle of the night. Therefore, these tasks may have been damaged long ago.
