Turn Off Outlook Sync

I've been using MLO and a CRM application for years.  Both of them sync with Outlook tasks.  Periodically (usually when I change PCs or our IT dept does and update on my PC), the settings get off and it creates a mess.  After giving it some thought, I've decided to turn off task syncing for both tools - I never use Outlook as a task manager anyway.

Question: I see a lot of settings for Outlook Sync in MLO.  But I don't see an option to simply turn it off.  Where do I go to find that option?

Hm.. you are right. No such option. I remember that MLO detected that you do not sync for too long to Outlook and proposes to disconnect. 

If you want to do it manually probably the best way to copy/past your tasks to the new data file.
