Hello All:
I'm trying to simplify my tasking system as suggested by Dwight and other MLO Pros. I'm trying to get over assigning 'Due Dates' and other Priority attributes in order to the Weekly / Daily process.
I've decided to only use Monthly & Weekly Goals as a quick preliminary filters using Tabs to jump down the filtered views until I arrive at a short 'Today' list. What has been happening is Tasks assigned due dates that are not really HARD due dates interfere with new and the rest of a monthly/weekly filtered and sorted by due date list. Hence, I am going to try to just Star tasks on the Weekly Goals list and filter these on the Today list. I'll see how it goes...
I also like to Review and when I do a lot of greyed-out Starred tasks are littered throughout the list. I know that this condition can be simply ignored or as I have done block select these completed tasks and clear the Starred status.
But, is there a way to have the Star cleared upon execution of the task 'checked-off'? In other words to automatically un-Star the task when it's marked complete.
I know I could setup a rule to exclude Starred + Completed Tasks from views, but I would prefer eliminating the extra meta-data overhead as it's no longer needed once the task is completed.
Ideas?

Rich
