I liked very much your decision to use the GTD methodology. I would
like to know whether will implement the Mac OS X?

I would like to see MLO for Mac OS X as well. I have tried it using CrossOver and it works really well other than all forms of synchronization get errors. Makes it rather unusable. Has anyone gotten MLO to run on mac using CrossOver or another emulation product.

Hi Lee,

See the codeweaver page on how to get cloud sync to work on Mac via
Crossover:

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=2578

Works just fine for cloud sync. I haven't tried to get WiFi sync
working yet, been meaning to try and figure it out one day. I'll need
to figure out what additional Windows libraries or packages will be
needed to be loaded in the WINE bottle for that to work, unless Andrey
can give me some hints. Right now, it's trial and error.

But of course I'd like to see a MacOS native version as well! I
wouldn't hold out short term hope for it though. Writing apps for iOS
seems to be much different than for MacOS. There's many a developer
blog on this topic. Maybe Apple will make some easier paths for
developers to move from iOS to Mac when they release MacOS 10.7, since
they're trying to introduce some iOS features to MacOS anyways...

That's my €0.02.

Feel free to ask questions on MLO via Crossover Mac if you need help.

cheers,
-pete

Hi Pete,

Thank you. That was an easy fix! Synchronization now works great.

Are there any plans to create a version for MAC OS X
Currently use Parallels to run it but it would be nice to have a
native version instead of having to load a VM for this.

Any updates from Andrey and the team on native OS X app since that time?

For years people (not many) have requested this and no official statement has been made from MLO side. This is one of the things that annoys me the most for I've been using MLO for years.

I use wine bottler on Mac OSx and it works more or less. I just hate to fumble around with 3rd party software.

For everyone interested in MLO for OS X, go ahead and vote for it at UserVoice:

It's still far behind the most popular suggestion ("Calendar overview"), but with enough votes we can change that :-)

See your votes there:
