receiving reminder only when I unlock screen

Hello, 
I really like MLO 2 and use the android version. 
"Allow reminders" is on but still I only receive set reminders once I take my phone and unlock the screen. 
How can I set them so that the reminders will always make a noise also when the screen is locked, like a text?

Hi, Liina. Which version of the Android system are you running? For example, I'm on 5.1.1 Lollipop.
