I am presently using MLO mainly for checklists but would like to consolidate my apps and move my task management from Todoist back to MLO. My project management dashboard notes are in Evernote and I need a link from my MLO Area of Focus or Project task to take me to the corresponding dashboard note in Evernote. This happens very gracefully on my Android and iOS devices but on my Windows laptop, MLO 6 opens a new tab in Chrome before going to the Evernote note, which takes a couple of seconds and would not work at all offline. Is there some way to make this work?

I appreciate MLO 6 is in beta but maybe someone has the answer!

To reply to my own query, from searching this forum again, the trick is to put "file:" before the app link. I will have to play around with it more but it looks promising and works online and offline.

NB The file: prefix only works on the Windows version. The mobile versions require the web address, so in practice one has to store both links for this if using MLO on mobile and desktop versions.

Interesting. will have to try with OneNote. Evernote was amazing until they threw away the native interface on windows.

In EverNote, press and hold Ctrl+right mouse button, click to copy the note link, and the pasted address is the address starting with evernote:, which is in the note of MLO. When starting with file:, you can click to open the corresponding note of EverNote directly. without browser redirection.
However, in this case, it will not be displayed as a link in ios, and naturally it will not be possible to click to jump. At this time, individuals can choose two methods:
1. Use both when saving.
2. Use the shortcut function in ios to convert evernote: (in fact, there are only 2 steps, 1) remove file:, 2) open the content at the beginning of evernote:)
In fact, as long as the content of evernote: is displayed as a link in the ios version of mlo, you can directly open the document in EverNote with one click. Unfortunately, mlo ios does not support it...
