Make sure you don't somehow have "Hide in todo" set on the parent task for the Home tasks. If that doesn't work, maybe give us a few more details about how you have the tree set up and what properties the Home parent has.

I setup the hierarchy with no parameters..and have re-checked and compared what is working and to what isn't working and the same things on the business section are on the home section...getting frustrated spend all day and evening trying to get it right.....

Well, something is different, obviously.  Even if you didn't turn on Hide-in-todo, it's worth checking anyway, just in case. It's inherited by the whole tree below it so it would be on a toplevel task.

Does the Home task tree have a different context? If so look at the open/closed hours. They often look "backwards" to me.

What view are you using in the Todo tab? There are many different views, and looking into which views they show up in and which they don't might provide a clue.

Please see what filter is set on your ToDo list - it is 'All' or 'Active'? see the screen attached.

You shouldn't have to set your filter to All to see those tasks. What switching to All does is gives you more information about the settings on the tasks. *Something* is making them be not Active....if you look up Active in the help you'll see the various reasons a task is Active or not-- Active means it is ready to be worked on.

My suggestion would be to create a new Home folder (don't duplicate anything as the settings will get copied), and move or duplicate a few of the subtasks into that new folder. Next make sure the "leaf" tasks that you moved/duplicated, the ones at the lowest level of the tree, show up as "Active" in the Todo tab by switching back to Active. If that works, duplicate/move the rest of the tasks and then delete the tree that doesn't show up, or rename it or something.
