General question: Where should bug reports be sent to? Is there
something like a bug tracker?

I found http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general but that seems to
be for feature suggestions only, not for bug reports.

It's not a bad idea to discuss bugs on this forum, in order to check that it's really a bug and not a user mistake of some kind. Sometimes you can learn about a workaround. If you are sure it's a bug and want to report it you should submit it by email to sup...@mylifeorganized.net

Ok, will do so. Maybe we can have a real bug tracker in the future,
that's more effective for everyone involved and makes sure bugs will not
be forgotten. Or maybe http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general
could be used for bug reporting as well.

Hello Christoph,

I wouldn't use User Voice as a bug tracker - It has a critical flaw in that new items don't have any votes so they get lost at the bottom of the list with all the unpopular user suggestions.

The forum is definitely the best place to post your bug reports.  You can check, from the replies, whether your bug report has then been picked up by a beta tester and transferred to the beta tester's bug reporting site, which is hosted on JIRA.

I should say, though, that Alexandra in MLO Support is very efficient and you can be sure that she'll pick up any bug reports that you send to the support email address.

In my case I got no reply
(http://www.mail-archive.com/mylifeo...@googlegroups.com/msg12000.html),
so I was not sure whether it was picked up. I've sent it directly to
support now but still did not get a response. It was not a critical bug,
but things could be a bit more transparent and simple. I think a bug
tracker could achieve that and makes the life easier for development and
support.

Just for the records, I got a response now and the problem is solved.
