How can one move the F3 window's default location?

Is there a way to move the F3 window's default position?

Background

I have been trying use the F3 window to move tasks. But what is frustrating is that each time I hit F3 it always opens in an annoying location on the screen and I need to move it.

I have tried moving it and closing it by holding down Control and left-clicking the (x) at the top right of the window, but this had no effect.

I don't know if this can be done.

Whenever I open an F3 window, I tend to use the Windows key and the left or right arrow to set my windows side-by-side, each in one half of my screen. It may not give a default position, but it's a pretty quick way to set the window position.
