Hello,

I am thinking about buying a MacBookPro Retina. What is holding me back is the possible loss of MLO when I move from Windows to MacOS.

Are there users on the list that would share their experience of such a setup ? I have read on this forum people complaining about the Retina high resolution. If I understood it right, there is the VirtualBox (or an other equivalent tool) and then there is the Mac equivalent of Wine.
Which one works and is usable. I find a windows virtual machine quite clumsy to use and, on my Ubuntu machine, I was not able to get the Cloud Sync work under Wine.

On my side I got it working using wine bottler. So far so good. I'm scared though, any upcoming new version may break compatibility

I use MLO and Crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac/) on a Macbook Air.  Works perfectly and syncs without issue.  On the forum you'll note the need for IE (or required dlls) to be installed in the same bottle for syncing to work.

I have now a Macbook Pro Retina and can confirm that MLO + Cloud sync works as advertised with Codeweaver. The application made the installation of the required IE7 easy.

Thanks for the tips.
