MLO IOS version crashes when trying to open a locked profile

I have numerous profiles on MLO running on the Iphone. At the bottom of the view menu there is "Current Profile: name of profile currently open. If you click on that you see a list of profiles used by MLO. I have numerous profiles and they are all locked and will open with face recognition. Now, however, if I choose a profile, it will not open up and MLO with immediantly crash.

Just a few thoughts:.

If you haven't done so already, try shutting down MLO fully (double-tap the home button then swipe up on the open apps, including MLO) and then restarting it. You could also try a soft reset (ie not wiping data) on your phone, in case it's some kind of bug with the face-recognition.

Do you have them sync'd with MLO on Windows? I do all my backups that way. You could then delete and resync your profiles. MLO's own Cloudsync would be another way to restore an uncorrupted copy, if you have an MLO Cloudsync account.

I've just discovered that you can create manual backups of your profiles from your iPhone, but that won't help if you haven't been backing them up and they're already corrupted - I'm mentioning that to draw it to the attention of other iPhone-only users, so that they can keep backups in case the same problem happens to them.

I use MLO Cloudsync with my Windows laptop and the IPhone. 
So the data is OK.

If I create a new profile on the IPhone and I us the “Lock Profile” menu to “ turn profile password on” and have “Use Touch ID” in the OFF position,  then I can open that profile using a manual passcode with no problem. But if I select “Use Touch ID” then MLO will crash when I try to open that profile. 

The IPhone menu tells me that the MLO App has never requested to use Face ID.
