Creating a Weekend To-Do list

I have some tasks that I can only do on a weekend; things that require daylight or a large block of time.  I am having trouble finding the best way to set up these tasks, to only see them on my To-Do list on the weekends.

For tasks that must be done in the very next weekend, I can use the start date/due date to only see the task on the weekend.  It is the tasks with no due date that I am having trouble with.  I want to see them each weekend, then hide them during the week.

First, I assigned these tasks to a "Weekend" context which is only open during the weekend.  This worked well at first, but then if I assigned these tasks to any additional contexts that were always-open (like "Home"), then these tasks would always show up on my To-Do list, instead of just on the weekend.

Second, I tried skipping the open/closed hours, and filtering on the To-Do list.  I created a "Weekday ToDo" view including the "Home" context, and a "Weekend ToDo" view including "Home" and "Weekend" contexts.

This works ok, but this doesn't feel like the best way.  Doing it this way, with any new To-Do list views I want to create, I will always have to specifically include or exclude the Weekend context, or make two separate additional views.

Could someone suggest a better way for me to approach this?

I came up with another approach. I created an Advanced filter with a
two part sub-rule:

(Contexts contain (consider open/closed state) "Weekend") OR
(Contexts does not contain "Weekend"))

WIth this filter, tasks that contain the "Weekend" context only show
up on my ToDo list when that context is open, even if the task
includes other always-open contexts.
I haven't done thorough testing on this yet, but it seems to be
working for what I need.
If I have other sometimes-open contexts, I could just add additional
similar rules to the filter.
