Set up Calendar

Hi! I'm trying to minimize apps I use- I don't use Google Calendar or Outlook and I'm trying to set up a calendar view on MLO where I can add calendar items like recurring annual events, scheduled appointments in the future, recurring meetings, etc so that, for example, I can search October and see a list of October events. I appreciate any ideas!

The problem is that MLO isn't a calendar tool. For example, if you receive an invitation to an event or meeting, in the open and widely used vcal format, you won't be able to add the item directly into your schedule in MLO. Likewise, you won't be able to send other people appointments.

I understand that you want to simplify and minimise your sources of information, but I think that you should still use the right tool for each job and in this case I think you'd be going too far in that quest for simplicity.

I import the vcal into Google Calendar in my MLO Calendar.

After synchronisation I move the item to my folder Appointments.

In the beginning i didn;t like the combination MLO and Google Calendar. But now I like it very much.

My basic tool is MLO 5 and Google Calender as second and actually only to have a visual overview of my time bloks.
