I have MLO 5.0.4
It still does not allow me to see the names of things on left side because a huge space is reserved for a counter I do not want to see.
I found options in manage views to not show counters, but that changes nothing. I really do not have enough space on my screen to always hide the words so you can show me the blank counts and I do not want to see them even if they are not blank.

Please fix this!

Yes i’ve been meaning to request this. Even with all counters turned off the buffer space between where it cuts of text on the left and the scroll bar on the right is huge. Can this be reduced to zero or close to it? This would be a huge boon for small screens.

Thanks

Yes I understand the problem. However with the current tree view control I could not find a good and easy way for rows without counters to use all the space. I will try to look into it again later.

For now if you do not use counters just turn off all of them and the space will be used by view name.

>Even with all counters turned off the buffer space between where it cuts of text on the left and the scroll bar on the right is huge.
1. Click Manage views...
2. Expand all views in Mange Views window (important)
3. Select all views (Ctrl+A)
4. Uncheck "Show Counters" on the right.

Since there will be no counters on views panel all space will be used by view caption. I've just checked it and it works as expected.

Thanks,
Andrey.

Thank you Andrey, glad to hear from you. I could not turn them off before, they were still there and taking the space but maybe you fixed in the update because they hide now. I was confused that they were still covering names in To-Do and Recent, but I see you select each one on the left and then turn it off. Well, those sections still seem to reserve the space.

Also when I go into Manage Views I notice Hide if zero is selected, but that only displays a blank that still covers name. Should that also be able to turn off the ones that are zero?

Unfortunately, I have found that I still cannot hide any counters to make space for names. I had thought it worked in Outline but that was only because I had expanded it a little and the names were shorter there. So how can we get the counters to really turn off?
