How to create a new task within a workspace or filter that has the same propertie

It will be really helpfull if you have setup workspace on desktop with a filter to filter out some tasks that a new task cerated within that workspace / filter view has the same properties as the active filter.

Is that already possible, if so how to use?

Hello,

it is already possible to create a child task with the contexts of its parent task. The copying of contexts from the parent is a general MLO-setting.

This was something I asked for previously. It's not implemented yet. In discussion, we found it was quite difficult to set rules for matching a filter, when a filter might include a range of values or "greater than" or "less than" parameters. Still, it would be worth finding and restarting that discussion. I do miss some of the control over presets and inheritance that Bonsai for Palm and PPC used to have.
