How to configure auto created work spaces in MLO 5 to sync to first work space

Hello. I normally keep the set of work spaces I use on a regular basis locked so I don't inadvertently change stuff I don't want to permanently change. When I click on a different view within one of these locked work spaces MLO automatically creates a new work space, which is fine. However, I'd like the newly created work space to be automatically set to sync to the first work space. Is there a way to configure MLO 5 to do that? I've read through the documentation, but don't see any place to set that behavior. I know I can manually configure the work space, but that's a bit inconvenient to the way I work. Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't think that's possible. If I remember right, the workspace inherits its view criteria from the locked view you jumped out of.
