Any way to have a Outline view where folder expand only when there are active tasks?

As the subject says, I'm wondering if there is a setting where folder expand only when there is an active subtask?  I have a mix of subtasks that have due dates and some that don't.  I'd like to have a view where everything is collapsed except for tasks that are active.
