Move Start Date and Due Date at once to the same date

I'm using MLO (v5) with the task properties pane collapsed in order to save space.

The only column I've added in every view is the Due Date column.

To change a Due Date of a task I right click on the Due Date and change the date.

This works great but there is a problem: The Start Date isn't changed.

In my Google Calendar the task is now multiplied from Start Date to the New Due Date.

What I want to do is to move both Start Date AND Due Date to the new date (The same Start Date and Due Date).

I know I can add the Start Date column and right click on Start Date to change the Start Date to the new Date and do the same with the Due Date.

However I want to move a task forward with one click (The same Start Date and Due Date) and I don't want to add the Start Date column in order to save space.

Is this possible without using the task properties pane?

Just press the checkbox "Lock Period" under "Lead Time". Start and Due date will move together like a married couple :)

Is it possible to document what the Lock Period checkbox does? As a beginner, because it was not documented, I thought it was a condition to have an event in the Google calendar. I understood later that there was no relation.

Are there any consequences when using the recurrence (specially weekdays and last day of the month), or the dependancy with and without a delay or the Inherit parent dates checkbox ?
