Hello,

I am writing with a request for help or a feature request.

I am a student and need to create HOURLY recurring (repeating) tasks which repeat based on the due date and time AS OPPOSED to regenerate new task after each task is completed.

I have attached screenshots showing that this option exists for both the DAILY AND WEEKLY AND MONTHLY OPTIONS. I would greatly appreciate if this could also be added to the hourly option.

I would greater appreciate any help and guidance. Thank you!

As far as I am aware this is not possible at the moment.

Have you considered creating multiple tasks, one for each hour?

So you might create sub tasks one for each hour:

Regular Task (10am)
Regular Task (11am)

etc

Then just set each task to daily or weekly at a specific hour.

If your concerned about multiple tasks appearing in your to-do list, you could use the dependencies option, so that the 11am task is dependent on completion of the 10 am one etc.

Not perfect, but it would work.

Indeed, that’s my approach, too.  I have tasks that say “09:00 Exercise”, “12:00 Exercise”.  Earlier I said I agree with you that I’d like to make them all recurring and do away with regeneration (or at least give the choice)
