It seems whenever I copy a view and then edit the copy, it changes the original view somehow.

I wouldn't normally think this would happened, so I sped through, uncarefully adjusting my copy thinking I could always return to the original, but this was also screwed up somehow.

I'm not sure what is going on exactly, so I'm trying to start all over again.

Do views in the same group affect each other, or what might be happening?

Thank you!

Workspaces, i.e. tabs, can hold changes to a view that are not saved. Perhaps you are changing the workspace's copy of the view. There should be a way to revert to the saved copy of the view - in the left hand view selection list right click menu, perhaps?

You have run into a confusing phenomenon I call "retained unsaved changes" - If you would like I could explain exactly what is happening and how to control it, But perhaps all that you really want is a way to make it work. Try this: whenever you mae a copy of a view and edit it, be certain to save the original view and also to save the changed view under a new name. Please let us know whether or not thisresolves your issue.
