wouldn't it be useful if the headings in properties pane would include
their keyboard-shortcuts? Instead of
"General"
"Timing & Reminder"
"Effort"
etc.
it could be
"General (Alt + F1)"
"Timing & Reminder (Alt + F2)"
"Effort (Alt + F3)"
etc.

I think we should argue by usefulness, not by "how it's always been
done".

No argument for me. If it was one, I would never have tried MLO but
would have continued using Outlook, as it's UI has probably been tested
more intensively.

So what is MLO now, polished or cluttered?

Post-it? *Sigh* ;-)
As a crib, one could at least number the headlines, like
"1) General"
Would that be better?
Tim
PS: By the time we're through with this I'll probably know the
shortcuts by heart anyway ;-)
Point your mouse on a header, stop for a sec and you will see a hint
window with shortcut displayed in it.

At least as elegant as changing vom keyboard to mouse to look up
keyboard-shortcuts can be ... ;-)
Tim
Another way is to look up the shortcut into help documentation :)
If you look the shortcut in hint 2-3 times you will remember it. I do
not like the idea to show all shotrcuts in the main interface.
