How do I use two android devices

Good morning,

 

I own a full license for Windows and Android.  I currently have MLO on my smartphone.  I recently purchased an Android tablet expecting that I would be able to have both the phone and tablet running MLO and syncing with the PC.  However, I seem to be unable to do that.  Am I missing step?

still not released.
If the smartphone version works on the tablet could u give a feedback
on the feel of it?
which tablet are u using?

Is your problem related to licence for another device?

I am using MLO on a 4.7" phone, a 5" android micro tab, and a 10"
lenovo tablet and it works fine on all.
Not everything scales perfectly on the 10" like the icons look lost on
that big screen but everything works great....

Been offline for the week.  Here is my clarification:

 

I have MLO installed on my PC.  I have the android version installed on my smartphone (Samsung T-Mobile).  I then installed the android version on my Sony Tablet S.  It runs fine on all three devices, however, I can only synch the smartphone and PC or the tablet and PC.  When I connect either the phone or the tablet, it disconnects the other device.  I cannot have both the phone and the tablet connected to my PC.

 

I would like to use the tablet as I do tasks around the house - larger viewing area, etc.

 

I would like to use the phone to quickly add/update tasks as I'm away from the house - more accessible and always with me.

 

How do I ensure I can have both?

The answer is to not connect both at the same time. The PC is the
master version so just sync the two devices to that. You can collect
data in any device, and just sync it when you connect.

I do something similar with multiple devices but I use the cloud
service as the master.

I think I see now, you are trying to connect two androids to a pc at
once with WiFi, is that right? If so I am of no help except to say I
would and have gone to cloud syncing (and I have) that way I can make
sure I have the latest updates all the time from anywhere I can get
phone service.

Hi Nick,

 

I am indeed syncing the two devices to the PC - but to do that, I have to disconnect one and enter the code for the other to connect.  Then repeat the process with the other when it is time to sync that one.  It is a hassle to have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting.  I don't get why the PC can't be aware of more than one device to sync with.

The issue for me is that there is an extra fee to use the cloud with MLO.  I had no issue paying the fee for the PC version.  I had some issue paying $10 for the android version, especially when it doesn't have all the features.  Paying yet another cost is becoming frustrating.

I think what you are saying is that you have to break the connection / registration of one device in order to sync the other? And go through a setup/reconnect process? Yes, that doesn't sound right, sounds like something that should be supported.

If you were required to simply have either one connected by a cable at a time, that would be more reasonable. I think that is what we were imagining when you said "disconnect" - unplugging a cable.
