Hi,

I'm struggling to describe what I want.
I want to be able to copy multiple lines of text from a text file or Word doc (any maybe even an Excel spreadsheet), paste it into MLO treeview, and have multiple sibling nodes/tasks created, one per line.

Does such a capability exist?  I use it (obviously) to from tasks/info already in a horizontal list to a set of sibling nodes.  Right now, if I attempt to paste when selection focus is on a particular node/task, nothing happens.  If I insert a node, the textbox appears for the node content and pasting puts all of the lines in the node text with special characters inserted (if present).

Thanks everyone!

as I understand the question, here are two options:

1) highlight MLO task, right-click, from drop-down menu select "Advanced" and "Paste text as subtasks." This option is quicker and simpler.

2) from the menu bar, "View" > "Rapid task entry window" select the desired parent, and then paste tasks in the text box. This option slower and allows for more complexity, including sub tasks, context, due dates. See MLO help for more details. I use this feature regularly.

cheers,
..jason
