help using this to organize my family

I was wondering if someone could help me setup MLO to organize my family.  I have eight children, and we homeschool them all, so there is a ton of stuff to keep track of.  I have been using MLO now for a few weeks and it is working out well for me.  I want to expand the use of this to include my entire family.  For example, every day, my older children have a task list of daily recurring tasks which they must complete.  I know how to setup recurring tasks on MLO, but I would like to set it up such that when one of my children opens MLO, they can click something such that they only see their tasks.  As it is now, they see everyone's tasks, including my own.  But I don't want them accidently (or intentionally) checking off my tasks.

Also, the children each have a kindle, and MLO works beautifully on their kindles.  but again....I want them to only see their tasks.  

Any ideas?

You can create a folder for everyone in the family, and then you can
restrict syncing to their individual folder (look for "branch sync" in
the sync options).

 I knew about this functionality but hadn't considered it for this use case, even though I've been trying to find a decent solution for it myself.
