The recent discussion where a new user is having problems getting his Contexts to work, does highlight something that I have struggled with when using MLO,  namely it is not very clear whether the contexts for a tasks are open or closed.   Unless I am missing something, you have to open the Context dialog box, navigate to the relevant Contexts and look at the Hours display.

I have certainly spent some time scratching my head trying to work out why a task isn't displaying only to realise that its Context is currently closed

Could we have some sort of tool to help us work out whether the contexts are affecting whether a task is visible or not in the ToDo view?

One idea would be to show the contexts for a Task in a specific colour (Green?) or bold or something (eg followed by an '(o)') if the the Context is currently Open.   And in a different colour (Red) or italicised (or something if the Context is currently closed).  And for this to appear in the Context property field and in the Context Column for each Task.  This would immediately make it clear whether that Task was being excluded because all its contexts are closed.

This sounds like a useful feature. BTW, as an update to my effort to
get open/closed contexts to work for me, Andrey has agreed to receive
my data file for analysis and (hopefully) resolution of my problem.
As soon as I get a chance I'll be sending that to him.
