What I want to do is quickly and easily add tasks in a way that they are already assigned the known context (@Home) and project (Garage).  This is best done on the Android phone app as I can take my phone into the garage and make a list of the things that need doing.  The voice input works fine, but new tasks are not added to the project or context I'm viewing.  What do I need to do so that new tasks are added to the specific project and, ideally have the project and any tasks always assigned to the @Home context?

Use the MLO widget for adding tasks with parsing.  You can create a one-touch short-cut on the screen or you can set it up in the notification area (which I do). Then you can just tap it, it brings up the entry box. You type in your task along with the modifiers like @Home or the project and it will enter it into your outline. The project parsing switch is -p: set IsProject option for task

One addtional thing, I made an error in my last post. The -p parsing switch makes it a project. To add it to your "Garage" project, use  -toprj=<ProjectName>. You would just time something like the following: Clean tools @Home -toproj=Garage
That should add it to your project with the right context.

If you are adding tasks to the same context / project again and again from time to time. Use a "Textpand" app to quickly add in the parsing text so you don't have to type it out every time. :-)

For example:
To quickly record ideas, I have added a textand to add my task to a certain folder + context.

Thanks Leigh (...or is it Michael?)

The widget works well, as does the floating 'green plus' icon in the phone app, but I still have to first select the project/context from a list every time (or add it to the text/voice input for parsing).  I don't want to have to do this if I'm inputting a whole bunch of tasks that are all for the same context/project.  Is it not possible to specify these first, then just enter the tasks in a 'one touch per task', rapid-fire way?   I'd expect this to happen anyway if I'm in a view that is showing only items from a specific project, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

You can create a shortcut with "Add task by voice with parsing" and "new task in <your project>". The new task will inherit the context of this project.
