I attended and informational meeting yesterday regarding a new CSA
that will be starting up in the sprint from PrairiErth Farm out of
Atlanta, IL. They are accepting 30 new members next year. Everything
is certified organic and it sounds like they are going to be great to
work with. They will be sharing recipes and tips for using up all of
the yummy veggies you wil be getting. At weekly pick up, they will
also be offering their grass feed beef, wonderful eggs as well as
chickens at a discounted price to CSA members. They will also have
family fun at the farm and canning/preservation parties to go along
with the CSA.
