Forest Green Greenway Trail head

We have still been having the issues of break ins at Forest Green
trail head.
Here are some comments from Tommy Lynch, Director of Parks, and I've
been speaking with their security personnel as well. The unmarked
parks police car will be making more rotations to Forest Green/Welcome
Lane trail head, I confirmed that as well.



From Tommy Lynch:

I am copying our safety coordinator and our Captain of the Park Police
to see if a camera is an available alternative. If there is some sort
of e-mail list that you can make suggestions to, it seems in most
cases of car break-ins people park their cars and then get our and
place valuables in the trunk, or , simply, leave items in plain sight
in the cars. Providing tips to Greenway users to place items out of
view prior to arriving in the parking lot can cut down on these types
of break-ins. Meanwhile we will up patrols and check on a camera.



Let's all be diligent about talking to neighbors while down there,
keeping an eye out for any suspicious people (basically anybody not
exercising/walking), and call it in if any doubt.
