Whenever I try to search from the address bar, entering a single
keyword redirects to this Google link:

http://www.google.com/search?btnI=%CA%D6%C6%F8%B2%BB%B4%ED&q=testing

It then goes to Google and then immediately does an "i'm feeling
lucky" search and jumps to the first page match.
However - if I search with TWO keywords, then it searches properly,
using the Tools -> Search default search engine I configured in MyIE9
(which is
http://www.google.com/search?num=50&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&safe=images&as_q=%s)

Also, I noticed something strange when trying this at work: I went to
http://csgdev:100 in the address bar (to hit one of the internal
machines in my network) and it still tried to do a google search,
despite it being a properly-formed URL.

I ran a search for all places that contain the search?btnI keyword. It
appears to be hard-coded into MyIE9's executable. Please remove this
hard-coding and make single- and multi-keyword searches from the
address bar work the same way.

Oh, one final thing. I have v37 right now. I know that v38 is out on
Sourceforge. Yet triggering a silent update in v37 tells me I'm
running the latest version.

Cheers

It's used for go to website while no need typing .com or .net.

And I'll provide a check box to disable it in 'Options' in later version.

Auto upgrade to V39.0 will be triggered when new version was proved to be stable. In fact , It's upgrade to most stable version, not newest version.

Thank you.

Already supplied this choice in the Version V40.0.
To let search when type one word in address bar, do one of below:
uncheck the check box of choice '1.4 Needn't Input www or .com' in
'Options'.

or uninstall and then install Version V40.0.
