Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Payroll and related HCM modules. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations, payroll process optimization, compliance management, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a functional consultant who can independently gather requirements, design solutions, and support payroll transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Oracle Fusion Payroll implementation and enhancement projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to payroll and HCM processes.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions for US payroll operations.
- Design and implement payroll process improvements, standardization, and optimization initiatives.
- Configure and support payroll costing, retro payroll processing, leave of absence (LOA), and payroll adjustments.
- Manage integrations with third-party benefits and 401(k) providers.
- Support payroll reconciliation activities, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions.
- Provide functional guidance during testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll implementations.

- Proven experience in payroll process review, redesign, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Experience integrating Oracle Payroll with third-party benefits and retirement plan providers.
- Hands-on experience with payroll reconciliation, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Experience supporting payroll transformation and standardization initiatives.
- Ability to independently own requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in large enterprise Oracle Fusion HCM environments.
- Prior experience leading payroll transformation projects.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion HCM implementation lifecycle activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
