Python Developer – Local to Delaware
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite/Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term
Client: Banking/Financial Client
Job Description:
We are looking for a strong Python Developer with hands-on experience in backend development, API integrations, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable applications and working in Agile environments. Candidate must be local to Delaware or nearby locations and willing to work onsite/hybrid from Wilmington, DE.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Python development
- Hands-on experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI
- Experience in REST API and Microservices development
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills:
- Banking/Financial domain experience
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Kafka or messaging platforms
- Knowledge of React or Angular is a plus
- Automation/Scripting experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable Python applications
- Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and implementation
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
