Senior SD-Profit Center Accounting Functional Consultant
Location: St Louis, MO  or  Kansas City, MO - ONSITE

•       SAP SD certification and/or S/4HANA certification .

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Functional & Technical Expertise
•       Support end-to-end Contract-to-Cash processes, including:
•       Order-to-Cash integration (SD–FI)
•       Billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition touchpoints
•       Handle configuration and support for:
•       Profit Center Accounting (PCA) in S/4HANA
•       Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and document splitting
•       Profit center derivation logic and reporting
Leadership & Soft Skills
•       Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
•       Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
•       Ability to influence senior business leaders and drive consensus.
•       Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
•       Comfortable working in global, cross-cultural environments.

Roles & Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
•       Provide L2/L3 support for SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Contract-to-Cash processes
•       Resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within SLA timelines
•       Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
•       Monitor system health and proactively prevent recurring issues
•       Work closely with business stakeholders to:
•       Understand issues and requirements
•       Provide functional solutions aligned with best practices
•       Participate in monthly/quarterly review meetings
•       Prepare and execute:
•       Test scenarios and regression test cycles
•       Maintain high-quality documentation:
•       Functional specs
•       Configuration documents
•       KT artifacts and SOPs
•       Identify process optimization opportunities
•       Suggest automation and efficiency improvements in C2C flows
•       Stay updated with S/4HANA Finance innovations

•       Generic managerial skills; the candidate must be able to lead the team.
