Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Five9 Platform Engineer with strong expertise in administration, IVR development, API integrations, and operational optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of the Five9 environment, including call flow design, system integrations, reporting, and performance optimization.

This role requires hands-on experience with IVR development, REST APIs, CRM integrations, and contact center analytics to support business operations and improve customer engagement outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Five9 Platform Administration

  • Perform end-to-end administration of the Five9 environment including:
    • Users and agents
    • Skillsets and queues
    • Campaigns and system variables
  • Manage routing profiles and operational controls.
  • Maintain system configurations to ensure platform stability and optimal performance.

 

2. Call Flow & IVR Development

  • Design, build, and maintain IVR call flows using Five9 Studio.
  • Develop and optimize IVR scripts to support:
    • Business requirements
    • Self-service capabilities
    • Improved call routing accuracy
  • Enhance customer experience through intelligent call flow design.

 

3. API Integration & Automation

  • Work with Five9 REST APIs for system integrations and workflow automation.
  • Integrate Five9 with:
    • CRM platforms
    • SSO applications
    • Recording systems such as Calabrio and Verint
  • Support reporting integrations including 2Ring dashboards and wallboards.
  • Develop custom workflows to streamline contact center operations.

 

4. Reporting & Analytics

  • Create and configure operational and performance dashboards.
  • Generate reports to monitor KPIs and contact center metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.

 

5. Operational Support & Optimization

  • Troubleshoot Five9-related issues across:
    • IVR flows
    • Call routing
    • Agent desktop configurations
    • Integrations
  • Conduct system audits and recommend enhancements.
  • Support release management and change control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

 

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in contact center technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Five9 platform.
  • Experience with IVR development using Five9 Studio.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of CRM integrations and SSO implementations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
