Job Description:

Seeking an Associate Director, Medical Affairs for one of my Pharma clients in Boston.  Hybrid - 3 days onsite work required.  12+ month Contract with potential to extend. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced degree (Masters, PharmD,. or Ph.D.) or equivalent highly relevant experience
• 8+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience in medical affairs and/or clinical development, including Global experience
• This person will be helping to build out the regional US team
• Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) sector and transplant medicine or immunology background
• Veeva experience is good to have
• Good scientific fluency
• Good communication skills
• Highly organized person
• Day to day:
  o Creation & review of slide decks and documents
  o Medical data review
  o Engaging with different groups across the Company
• Communication and medical and scientific knowledge of the disease area with the ability to communicate difficult concepts and persuades others to gain alignment.
• Strategic thinking and problem solving: Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify solutions.
• Demonstrates business acumen and has drug development experience, demonstrating in depth understanding of cross-functional interdependencies across the drug development lifecycle.
• Compliance experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant (area-specific) legislation o regulatory guidance governing the provision of medical information and applicable data privacy legislation.
