Position Overview:
The State Govt agency(DSS) is seeking a highly experienced Systems Software Programmer – Project Lead to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-scale web applications. The successful candidate will primarily focus on enhancing and supporting the SC New Hire application as part of the integrated Child Support Enforcement system.
This individual must possess strong hands-on experience in .NET application architecture, user interface design, web service construction, and database integration on the Microsoft Windows platform. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
l Lead design, development, and deployment of .NET enterprise-level applications.
l Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
l Design and document complex subsystems and system components using object-oriented (OO) principles.
l Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging of application components.
l Participate in system testing, integration testing, and deployment on test and production servers.
l Create and execute test plans and support regression, performance, and security testing.
l Identify architectural improvements and provide guidance on coding standards and best practices.
l Support technical infrastructure including code repository, build automation, and monitoring systems.
l Contribute to Agile ceremonies and promote continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
l 7+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale systems using Microsoft .NET architecture.
l 5+ years of experience building N-tier, web-based applications with complex security and dynamic content delivery.
l 8+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC 4+, Entity Framework 6, and WCF.
l 3+ years of experience of Angular (v15+), jQuery, JavaScript (ES6+), and RxJS (Observables, Subjects, Operators).
l 8+ years Experience with MS SQL Server 2016/2019 (including T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
l Skilled in using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022, Azure DevOps, and TFS for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
l Familiarity with responsive design, Angular CLI, and front-end project scaffolding.
l Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and IIS configuration.
l Proven success in deploying and supporting complex software components in a production environment.
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
l Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
l Experience using PowerShell scripting for automation and deployment.
l Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
l Familiarity with performance and security testing tools.
