We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant with strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and alignment to ITS / ITIL frameworks. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM processes while ensuring best-practice service delivery and process governance.
This role requires a blend of technical configuration skills and IT service process knowledge.
Configure and enhance core ITSM modules including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Request Fulfillment
Knowledge Management
Customize forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and notifications
Implement and manage SLAs, OLAs, and escalation workflows
Design and develop workflows using Flow Designer and legacy workflow editor
Automate ITSM processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems where required
Design and maintain Service Catalog items and request workflows
Create user-friendly catalog experiences aligned with business services
Implement approval flows and fulfillment processes
Support CMDB data modeling, relationship mapping, and data governance
Ensure CMDB accuracy, integrity, and alignment with ITIL practices
Work with discovery teams (if applicable) to maintain CI data quality
Align ServiceNow implementations with ITS / ITIL frameworks
Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions
Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Drive standardization and best practices in ITSM processes
Prepare functional and technical documentation
Support UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Provide knowledge transfer and user training when required
5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow platform
Strong hands-on experience with ITSM module configuration
Expertise in:
Flow Designer & workflow automation
SLA configuration
Service Catalog development
CMDB structure and relationships
Solid understanding of ITIL / ITS service management frameworks
Experience gathering requirements and working with business stakeholders
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS–ITSM preferred)
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
Knowledge of Discovery, Asset Management, or ITOM modules
Experience in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail
