Hi everyone,

I've been fairly silent on these mailing lists for the last few months, but listening as usual. I'm really excited to let all of you know that several members of the myhomeyourhome project from last year (http://www.myhomeyourhome.tk) will be taking a class this term in which we design and build a tiny home.

We're really excited to get started, but one of the aspects of the research that we would like to implement is working with a codesigner. This is a person who fits the target audience for our design, who can tell us about their lifestyle and who can discuss our design with us. We're especially interested in speaking to students, recent immigrants living alone or with one other person, and people over the age of 50 interested in tiny homes.

Codesign is a process of product design which is highly user centered. This means that we talk about the needs of a potential user of our product (a tiny home) and tailor the design to those needs. We would be absolutely thrilled to work with any one of you, so please get in contact with us if you're interested in working with some students and future designers.

Thanks and cheers,
Rachel

Hi Rachel:

Thank you for the amazing work you are doing. I would love to learn
more and participate.

Here is a bit about me:
Female, 52, mother, long term immigrant, community organizer,
researcher, technologist, currently sharing my living space and very
interested in optimum living spaces for a green, conscious world.

Please feel free to contact me at: vi...@vidamas.com anytime.

Kindest;

Hi Vida,

Thank you so much for your message. We're so glad that you're interested in our project.

It sounds like you would be a perfect participant in our study. Whereabouts do you live? Would the best way for us to contact you be via email, or perhaps skype? (If meeting you in person is not possible.)

Thanks and cheers,
Rachel

Hi Rachel:

Thank you for your response. Email works best for me initially. We
can then meet in person for sure.

Kindest;
Vida

Hi Vida,

That sounds just fine. I'll put together an explanation of this segment of the project for you, and some initial questions.

Thanks so much for your time.
Cheers,
Rachel
