Subject: Withdrawal from my candidature
To: MHV Owners Group <mhv-owne...@googlegroups.com>

Hi all, it has been difficult time in the last few days running around in CH2 office, discussing arguing with EO and friends and acquaintances on proxies. It doesn't leave an iota of good feeling left. The proxies in this election stand at 365, approximately and when I knew day before I thought that that the proxy count too big to have a fair verdict and wanted to withdraw for whatever it's worth. But like a sorcese movie things kept going forward and backward yesterday and today that I spent most of my waking hours in CH2. All said and done, 365 proxies is a big number. I am not naive to believe, even though I want to, that that these proxies were collected since nominations. Also, membership certificates issued also seemed to have been associated with the increase in proxy count. While proxy is a fundamental right, having elections with as many proxies means a pre-fixed match. While I, or some of my panel, or anyone may still get elected with these proxies, I do not believe it's fair on so many contestants who were not privy to contact details of owners or membership certificate statuses. Particularly on independent and simple people who are contesting in these elections. Furthermore, there is lot of back and forth on which proxies to accept or reject since yesterday. I think this is unfair to many contestants and has vitiated the spirit of elections. Irrespective of my chances or if any members of United Vihanga team, I think this is unfair and want to stay out of this process. I am sorry for members who support me or trust me, and for United Vihanga team members, but if I accept this election, I accept the legitimacy, not legality, of this election. I am not a party to this. This is my individual decision and does not apply to any of United Vihanga team members, who have put in lots of efforts in the last few in the idea of our manifesto. I do not have chance to withdraw my nomination now, as this proxy story surfaced and didn't conclude before a couple of hours today. Therefore, with some regret I am declaring that I will withdraw from these elections. Which means I will resign my position even if I am elected tomorrow. Apologies to all my supporters and team members who stood by me all this while.🙏

Pls do not waste your vote on me

Best regards
Vamsi Krishna
