Have not heard anything. I hope EC is not responding selectively to emails and Ravi mentioned that EC is responding to all mails asap. In any case, the context is for Elections which are fast impending. Any delayed response, or inaction, is as good as no action.

Please consider all the points and let everyone know.

Here are some suggestion for your consideration regarding the upcoming elections:

 

1. Right2Vote seems to be a good software, but other options can be explored.

2. EC should deal with Vendor directly, without MC intermediation or intervention.

3. EC may invite some residents during the Right2Vote demo and details.

4. A dry run can be conducted.

5. All Phone numbers, and Emails should be verified against the membership records, and they have to be unique. This is same like issuing a ballot paper after verifying a membership certificate in the case of physical voting.

6. Unique IP feature exists in Right2Vote software, which will prevent any misuse. We do not expect a common location for voters as one-flat has only-vote.

7. Selfie feature can also be enabled.

8. Voting has to be conducted in the precise time, without giving much scope for people to move about. OTP should be valid for a few minutes only, post which it can be cancelled, or resent only upon specific verified request.

9. A dry run can be conducted with these features and seeing the audit trail also, such that no surprises occur on the E Day.
