Well, if you're here, then you've either heard of file@home,
www.myhomefiling.com
or you're lost. But it doesn't matter how you got here, what matters
is that you are, and for that we at myHomeFiling are very grateful as
the internet is a very fickle place, one minute you're flavour of the
month, the next your servers are WEEE fodder and your copy is being
flamed.
For those of you reading that haven't checked out our new site (shame
on you!),
www.myhomefiling.com is a site dedicated to the promotion of
our new product file@home (originally called FileIT - but we appeared
to be treading on the toes of people with trademarked brands, so hey
ho, new name, same great product). It's all about filing in the home,
how to keep your information close, but move the paper somewhere where
you don't need to think about it. There are hundreds if not thousands
of ways to do this, so we've tried (really hard) to keep things simple
(but not dumbed down rubbish simple).
So, with our web site and product available on the web, our blog about
to launch on
myhomefiling.blogspot.com we needed a last point of
presence on the internet, somewhere to have open discussion about
features, ideas, bugs (we're good, but we're only human, sometimes, we
miss things, but we fix them fast!) and for this we've chosen Google
Groups. We (mHF) all use Google products a lot, so it seemed like the
logical choice, and it means that one of our team are normally close
by to answer any questions.
