May meeting and Placemaking Celebration!

Dear neighbors - Lots to celebrate with GNIA! 

Our May meeting next Wednesday 5/22, 7:00 pm at the JCC, will feature our annual Legislative Wrapup from our elected officials in Annapolis. Come out, meet your representatives, hear about their accomplishments in the short Maryland citizens' legislature (only 3 mos!), and ask questions. Oh, and then enjoy delicious refreshments compliments of GNIA.

The very next day, Thursday 5/23, 4:00-5:00 at the Enoch Pratt Library, Reisterstown Road Branch, we will celebrate and inaugurate our long-awaited Placemaking Installation (aka a sidewalk mural). Come out, meet the artists, enjoy the art work, have some refreshments (GNIA always feeds you!), and celebrate with the Glen community this beautiful work of art.

Also, Glen has recently contracted with Baltimore Clean Corps to help keep our streets and alleyways clean. The Clean Corps team will begin their work in Glen mid-June and are taking requests! If you know of a block, street, alleyway, empty lot, or intersection that could use cleaning, please let me know (cher...@gmail.com) and I'll pass that along to the Clean Corps team.
