Dear neighbors,

Please join us for our January meeting on Wednesday, 1/24, 7:00 pm, at the JCC. Warmer weather is in the forecast, so come out, meet and greet your neighbors, and enjoy the program.

In continuation of our City Services Academy (bring your folders!), we will take a deep dive into the Department of Transportation, represented by our liaison, Eric James. Mr. James will explain what DOT is responsible for (and what it's not responsible for) and guide us thru the process of requesting a service from DOT.

As an added treat, we will be joined by Samuel Seo, Manager of Tree Baltimore. January 24 coincides with the minor Jewish holiday of the New Year of the Trees (Tu b'Shvat), an ecological holiday celebrating the renewal of trees preparing for the coming spring. Mr. Seo will explain what Tree Baltimore does and how to request, plant, and care for a new tree. Glen is well known for our beautiful tree canopy; let's keep it going!

To celebrate the New Year of the Trees, we will sample fruits and nuts, especially those found in Israel.
