Doubt in listing certain number of rows

Hi Team,
As i have a issue in finding the formula to list the certain number of rows, i have the column called Amount . i want to list only the n number of rows.
Example: Fileds!Amount.value but not all values, only the first n number of rows
Example: Fileds!Amount.value but not all values, only the first n number of rows
Could you please help me with the formula.
