Preferable trainer experience:

1. Experiance on development c, c++ on linux/unix

2. Knowledge on many open source application especially postgres-postgis

3. Hands on experience using many open source SCM and DCM i.e. cvs, svn, trac and others

 

Trainees:

2 person, in house

Trainee 1: System admin, linux level expert, c knowledge basic, postgress basic

Trainee 2: Software desing, linux level intermediate, c knowledge basic, postgress intermediate

 

Meal provided, working day only, Monday to Thursday only, 09 AM to 06 PM

 

 

 

1. Course: Open Source Source Code & Document Management System

     Any open source system i.e svn, trac etc. Can propose to us..

2. Platform: Linux Server, Linux client developer

3. Objectives:

  a. install and configure on linux server. Trainee will install in client linux ubuntu.

  b. create repository

  c. create user and project folder structure

  d. manage various level of user access right on working folder in linux server

  e. create initial server project folder, export folder from client, checkout, commit, etc all important operation

  f. manage version, tag, diff, merge, etc

  g. advice on folder structure, c++ Qt postgress postgis development platform

  h. Application (like svn, cvs, or your could propose better open source application), shall be able to

     store text base, document i.e microsoft .doc, .xls, .ppt, other document, images, map, database backup files (i.e. dump.sql, dump.

     backup). => can support many format

  i. Provide client GUI to ease developer check in, chek out, merge, different, etc. In example eSvn for SVN.
