National Young Farmers Coalition and the Michigan Agricultural Mediation Program (MAMP) were among the exhibitors and presenters at the Michigan Family Farms Conference. The Conference was a fantastic opportunity for small farmers to network and get updated on earth-friendly production practices, building the local food community, and small business management. I’m following up on Conference interactions to share with you how MAMP can benefit you and/or your farmer clients.
MAMP helps farmers resolve disputes with creditors, lenders, and/or USDA Agencies. This highly successful, free service reduces the time and costs associated with administrative appeals and litigation. It is available to all Michigan farmers and in some cases can literally save the family farm. More information is available on our website:
