Anyone have any thoughts about this?

In our privacy policy on the registration page we say:

"We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us which we will use only for operational purposes and to support academic research into the use of myExperiment. We will not make personally identifiable data available to third parties without consent."

Hi Alan and Finn,

Ian mentioned the possibility of deploying my interaction capture tool in myExperiment and BioCatalogue Web applications. Would there be any problems with that?

I would be happy to discuss any privacy concerns, although the data would be processed in a completely anonymous way. I have put together a document describing the information captured for each event, as well as the objectives of the project, and outcomes that could benefit the design of the Web application. You can find it attached to this mail.

Aitor
