The site appears to be down. Any ideas why?

Ah, yes. I notified some people yesterday, but not this list.

There was a cooling failure in the Shared Data Centre where the
myExperiment machines are housed yesterday. Cooling is now restored,
and myexp02 (which houses for example rdf.myexperiment.org) has come
back up. myexp01 (which hosts the main site) didn't come back
automatically so will need manual intervention. There are many systems
for departments and projects which need attention, and a limit to how
many people can work on site at once.

We were not able to get access to the machine today, but expect to
tomorrow. I'll keep this list informed of any status updates.

The myexperiment server is now back up and running. It still needs some
services checking/restarting for the main site to appear (I think Finn
will have a look at this).
