Can you add any text (event name) to individual days in GRID VIEW?

Hi:

I've installed your calendar plugin and purchased the Grid View add-on.

I'm using Grid view here:  http://www.bobpaltrow.com/jazzproject/the-art-of-jazz/

QUESTION 1 - FOR GRID VIEW: can an abbrevated text name of an event be in the 'day square'

besides just the number? 

Also, when the calendar is displayed, it is deceiving, because it says "No Events"

at bottom. It says "No Events" until you click on a day (color). But if you don't do that,

it looks like the calendar is saying there's "No Events" this month.

QUESTION 2 - EVENT VIEW:

You will have to scroll to JUNE to see multiple events for us in one month.

I want to style the individual events so there is a space (margin?) between each event.

Right now, they run into each other. Can I thicken a border? Or add some pixels between events?

I couldn't locate or modify any CSS elements to do that.
